Vietnam-Cambodia border promised to make to become a region of peace and friendship

Biên giới Việt Nam-Campuchia hứa sẽ trở thành một khu vực hòa bình và hữu nghị

Minister of Vietnam and Cambodia has promised to make the border of the 2 countries become peaceful regional stability, friendship and development.

The promise was made by Vietnamese Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh and his Cambodian counterpart Tea Banh, in a meeting in Hanoi last weekend. According to Vietnamese media reports VNS published yesterday.

In the meeting, both counterparts 2 also mentioned the achievements resulting from building friendly relations between the 2 countries. Besides meeting with Phung Quang Thanh Banh also met with General Secretary of the Communist Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. During the meeting, General Secretary of the Vietnamese defense ministry insisted to 2 countries continue to strengthen cooperation in defense and security framework further consecutive boundaries.
